The dark evergreen leaves are very glossy, scalloped, and provide a wonderful ground hugging mat that is simply striking. Deep blue flower spikes in the spring compliment the dark foliage. ‘Black Scallop’ is easy to grow in sun or shade, but produces more intense color in full sun.
